Fired Up! My humble chapter in an inspiring anthology.
Have you begun what you thought would be a rather effortless endeavor, and then found it to be an almost overwhelming journey leading to unexpectedly profound personal growth? This is exactly what happened to me over the year of 2021. At the suggestion of a friend, I joined a group of ten powerful, resilient women from all over the world, by adding a chapter to the powerful anthology: Fired Up! Inspiring Changemakers Share their Breakthrough Stories and Actionable Roadmaps on How to Accelerate Your Growth. Little did I know that by writing about one of my greatest life challenges, I would encounter unexamined pain and re-live moments of deep anguish. Thankfully, through this process, I was also able to experience the freedom and peace of helping old wounds heal. I am deeply grateful to have had this opportunity to share my story; my intention is to help and inspire others to create the life they truly wish to live.
Earning International Bestseller status in December 2021, Fired Up! is a collection of life stories from women of varying ages who faced or were victims of daunting challenges and yet, even in quiet moments of despair, bravely dared to dream and worked diligently for more. Each author in this book developed resources, persevered daily, and found their own individual pathway to inspiring professional success and fulfilling personal lives. Along the way, every one of these authors experienced a similar growing desire: to use their experience, knowledge, and resources to help other individuals the world over to find success.
The stories were collected by Rebecca Vijay, CEO of Fount of Grace Creatives, who also contributes her own inspiring story of overcoming grief and hardship. It was an honor to work with each one of the authors who willingly and courageously shared their vulnerable, personal stories for others to grow.
